Webinar
Rising energy costs and the urgent need to integrate more renewable sources present significant challenges for households and small businesses alike. How can we intelligently manage energy consumption to maximise the use of available green power from the grid while simultaneously reducing electricity bills?
Join this L-DIH TALK to explore a comprehensive, cutting-edge energy solution currently being piloted in around 90 individual houses across Europe to maximise the uptake of grid's renewables in homes and businesses while simultaneously reducing energy bills. The combination of computing, algorithms, batteries and low-grade heat storage makes this approach possible.
Future generalisation of the piloted solution, delivered as part of the Interreg NWE RED WoLF project (2019-2023), will be examined from the viewpoint of implicit and explicit demand-response, innovative microgeneration, energy communities and the advancement of citizens' environmental literacy and training. The benefits for a European knowledge exchange centre for energy in social housing will be also discussed.
